Sometimes the best music begins without a plan.
What started as a simple visit and a conversation between two musicians unexpectedly grew into something much bigger. Ren Kaido and Airi found themselves exchanging melodies, lyrics and ideas — until one song became two, and a spontaneous creative session turned into an entire collaborative mini album.

Their first song together, “One More Step,” was born almost by accident. Sitting on the floor with a guitar, they began talking about those moments when everyone else seems to be moving forward while you feel as though you are standing still. Airi began singing in Korean, Ren answered in Japanese, and the conversation slowly became music.
At the heart of the collaboration is friendship, creative trust and the freedom to follow an idea wherever it leads.
What followed were long evenings filled with melodies, rewritten lyrics, voice notes, unfinished notebooks and countless “one more idea” moments. Somewhere between late-night writing sessions, too much convenience-store food and very little sleep, OFF SCRIPT began to take shape.
The title feels fitting.
This project was never really planned.
It simply happened.
And perhaps that is exactly why it feels so alive.

予定外から、音楽が生まれた。
Music was born from the unexpected.
