Some friendships unexpectedly become creative partnerships.
With Airi, music grew naturally out of time spent together. What began with conversation, a guitar and an idea eventually became “One More Step” — and then something neither of them had originally planned: an entire collaborative mini album.
OFF SCRIPT grew from that spontaneity.
Korean and Japanese lyrics found their place beside one another. Ideas were exchanged, rewritten and developed through long creative sessions, unfinished notebooks, voice notes and countless moments of deciding to try just one more thing.
What makes the collaboration meaningful is not simply that two artists made music together. It is the trust that allowed them to create without forcing the outcome.
Friendship came first.
The music followed.
